How to Apply for a Reprint of Your PAN Card or Change Details on Your PAN Card
You can apply for a
reprint of your PAN card on both the NSDL and the UTIITSL websites. The two
situations wherein you can apply for a reprint of your PAN card are:

You
already have a PAN number but the PAN Card is damaged.
·
You
have lost your PAN Card.
·
You
wish to make a few corrections or changes to the details on your existing PAN
Card.
How
to Apply for a Reprint or Correction of PAN Details on UTIITSL Website
Step 1: Visit https://www.pan.utiitsl.com/PAN/mainform.html
Step 2: Select if you want both a
physical copy of your PAN and an e-PAN or the e-PAN only.
Step 3: Enter your PAN number.
Step 4: Fill in the required
details.
Step 5: Enter the captcha and
submit the form.
Step 6: Pay the fee.
Step 7: Print the acknowledgement
receipt and mail it to your nearest UTIITSL centre. Do remember to also include
copies of the necessary documents (identity-proof, address-proof, and proof of
date of birth documents). You must also enclose a copy of your Aadhaar card.
Step 8: You will also have to submit
proof of an existing PAN card
How
to Apply for a Reprint or Correction of PAN Details on NSDL Website
Step 1: Visit the NSDL website:
Step 2: Select the relevant of
the 4 options available while requesting for PAN change.
Step 3: Fill in the required
details.
Step 4: Pay the required amount.
Step 5: Print out the
acknowledgement and send it to the NSDL office by post. Ensure that you also
mail the required documents (identity proof, address proof, and proof of date
of birth).
Step 6: You may also be required
to provide proof of an existing PAN card.
Note: It is against the
law for any individual to own two PAN numbers. Fill and submit form 49A only if
you are applying for a PAN card for the first time.
